Endless calls for weeks, endless problems with a poorly built unit. We have had frozen pipes since day one on the brand new unit. Mold and water build up in a brand new building. A landlord who doesn't care about it's tenants. Fire extinguishers long over due for servicing, which is against the law. A half finished roofing fix left untouched for 6 weeks in the dead of winter. Building materials left outside for 6 weeks blown away in storms. Materials which cost thousands to replace. Drywall cracking and falling off walls and ceilings. Raining in rooms from condensation. Frozen dryer vents, frozen sewer exhaust, frozen sinks, frozen washer drain. No insulation on a sink on an exterior wall, in the arctic. Burst pipes, every winter for 5 years. Calling everyday to get damage repaired and waiting months to have it fixed. Building quality so poor on a unit valued at $4,500 a month. Flooring that has been damaged awaiting repairs for 3 years. Appliances damaged and barely functioning. Electrical outlets wired improperly. ONE thermostat for an entire 2 bedroom unit. Hot water heating system that leaks into walls and and regularly fails. No heat in rooms for months, still awaiting it to be fixed. Siding being removed and not replaced for two months. Fungus and mushrooms emerge from cracks and holes in drywall. Iqaluit and Nunavut deserves better treatment. This company makes millions off of units that are overpriced slums.
